Let's take it back to the early 2000s for a second... Freudenhaus went to Tokyo, Japan for a trunk show. We created a cool concept & campaign called the "New German Cool" it was a slogan and inspiration for the latest collection (and something we always try to embody and thus became known for).

We kept things eccentric and fun for our Japanese audience. We didn't want anything too structured, but a good design culture. We created this mobile and other displays with fun and whimsical characters to highlight our German roots.

With the collection we combined a minimalistic approach with inspiration from Bauhaus, to create something traditional yet still modern. We showed these displays for Globe Specs and IOFT in Tokyo. Everybody loved them and the success of our trip let us know that we were hitting the mark!
